Race
Official Freak Off Whitepaper, last updated October 2024
Racing is FreakOff’s first game mode which will be available at launch. Players are required to sign their Freaks to participate in races. Each race consists of 9 contestants who will start the match from 9 gates. The gates operate on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing players to secure their position in the race by signing in early. Selecting the best race to sign in is a crucial task on the path to success. Players must carefully evaluate various factors such as the measurement, race track type, podium size, and other pertinent considerations. By strategically choosing races that align with their Freak's strengths and racing style, players can maximise Their chances of reaching the podium and winning great prizes.
In Freak Off, races are divided into two general types:
Paid races: players are required to pay an entry fee to sign their Freaks into the race. The entry fees collected from participants are then distributed among the winners on the podium. Some paid races require FOT for the entry fee and some will use USDT as their entry fee and prize pool.
Free races: There is no entry fee. Instead, the prize pool for these races is provided directly from the Freak Off’s FOT treasury. This allows all players to participate and have a chance at winning valuable rewards. Participating in free races will also help players evaluate their Freaks and gather strategic data at the minimum cost
